The Magic of the Mind

I've been reading a book that was written a long time ago, about the power of your mind. That is, it's not a book on the occult, LOL. It's a book that speaks about how you basically are what you think.
It inspired me to start a new series of girls.
Here's one:

Adventures in Fiber Art....

Recently I recieved a bag full of alpaca fiber, to spin on my wheel. I was more than excited to have some fiber to spin up.
I did also remember that I had some merino wool in my closet, also.

Yesterday, I went up to east harlem to sell my art and handmade goods at the Artist's Marqueta at La Casa Azul.

The Nameless Lady and my Thoughts On Copycats

I just finished a new little watercolor painting, woot! Finally! You know, when I'm not feeling it, I normally pick up my crochet needle and wool. I was already on to my fourth hat! What the heck, I was starting to think it'd never come back.

Yarn, Anyone?

Recently I was making a hat while I was hanging out with a friend of mine.

I was asked where I purchased the yarn, and I very proudly stated that I dyed and spun the yarn myself. 

A Quick WIP because....

This past weekend, I learned a lesson. And I learned it, from a drag queen.
Drag queens are so inspiring to me. To me, they epitomize being happy and feminine no matter what your hang ups are.
